I have been busy, busy, busy this past week working in my classroom to get it ready for the kiddos! I am happy to report, I am almost finished! I hope to have my classroom tour up some time this week. It's taking me a little longer than usual since this room is new to me, is pretty small, has no closet, and I have had to go through things and clean everything in the room before I could even begin putting my things up and decorating. Anywho, I am 90% finished!!! I did manage to whip together a couple things for Monday Made It this week.
First up is this pretty, glittery rainbow. We use rainbow sight words in our kindergarten, so I made this rainbow to use in a display showing the levels the students have mastered.
I heart glitter!
Above the rainbow, each student will have a cloud with their name on it. I printed, laminated, and cut these out last night, along with about a million other things! Each time they master a list, they will get a raindrop of that color to place under their cloud. It will look similar to this. I can't wait to get this up, it's going to be so cute!
I also managed to get my curtains sewn last night. They turned out super cute! I did two different types of panels using all my fabrics.
Here's a sneak peek......
And , last up is the name banner I showed you last week on my craft room floor is now hanging above my corner of the room. Please ignore the tubs on top of the cabinets in the background. Remember I don't have a closet! I do however have a plan to hide the tubs....if I can get it to work. You can also see a peek of my curtains and the bulletin board I shared last week in the background. I found these tissue balls at the party store Friday and love how they look with my banner...:)
I can't wait to check out some of your made it's! I so look forward to this party every week! Hoping to finish my room tomorrow since I'm back on the clock Tuesday and we all know between meetings and visiting and catching up with all our teacher friends, not much work gets accomplished during pre-planning days. Tell me I'm not the only one...lol!
Well, I'm off to print, laminate, and cut some more! Be sure to hop on over and check out all the awesomeness Tara has going on at 4th Grade Frolics!
Until next time....be blessed!
Love Love Love your name banner. So pretty.

I used to do a rainbow for sight words when I taught Kindergarten and 1st grade!!! I had four clouds at the bottom. Each cloud had how many words they needed to know for the four grading periods. I used raindrops for their names and would use a dry erase marker to keep track of the number of words they learned. I used to buy a Happy Meal when they learned all 220. You KNOW I'm lovin' your glittery rainbow! I am so excited to see your reveal when it's 100% finished!!!!!
